The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced enhanced integrity measures aimed at safeguarding the credibility of the 2026 Computer-Based West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). A total of 1,959,636 candidates are registered to participate in the examination, which will take place across Nigeria and several neighboring countries. These measures are designed to ensure a fair testing environment and to uphold the standards of the examination process. WAEC's commitment to maintaining examination integrity is critical as it seeks to combat any potential malpractices during the assessments.
