Owoeye Jesudunsin from Ekiti State has achieved the highest score in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), attaining 372 marks out of a possible 400. The examination, organized by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), took place in Ogun State, with Jesudunsin selecting the University of Lagos (UNILAG) as her first choice for medicine and surgery. Following her, Ikenna Enwere from Imo State secured second place with a score of 370, while Ayomide Bamisile from Ondo State came third with 369 marks. In a related development, JAMB registrar Ishaq Oloyede announced new measures for the 2027 UTME, including a "Bring your own device" option to enhance convenience and integrity during examinations.
