Shoppoint, a rewards app established in 2023, has unveiled the Billion Receipts Initiative, aimed at digitizing one billion offline consumer receipts in Nigeria. This initiative seeks to create the country’s first data refinery dedicated to enhancing the retail economy. The program is set to officially commence in June 2026 and will encourage ongoing participation from shoppers across the nation. As part of this initiative, Shoppoint has allocated ₦10 million in rewards to incentivize consumer engagement and support the mission's goals.
