The Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 2, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has formally charged Shehu Gabam, the national chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with allegations of financial misappropriation. Alongside Gabam, Chukwuma Uchechukwu was also arraigned in connection with the same charges under criminal case No. DCC/10/2026. The proceedings took place before the FCT Chief Magistrate Court on Tuesday, marking a significant development in the ongoing legal scrutiny of the SDP leadership.
