The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has expressed support for the Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC) in its efforts to implement consumer-centric reforms designed to eliminate estimated billing practices in the Lagos electricity market. In a statement released on Tuesday by FCCPC’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Ondaje Ijagwu, the commission highlighted LASERC’s initiatives as outlined in the 2025 Lagos Electricity Market Report. These reforms are aimed at ensuring fair billing practices and enhancing consumer protection within the electricity sector in Lagos State.
