Atiku Abubakar, the leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Vice President of Nigeria, has publicly mourned the passing of Abba Anas Adamu, a party governorship aspirant in Jigawa State. Adamu was reportedly kidnapped along the Kaduna-Abuja highway and died shortly after being released. In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku expressed his anger and sadness over the circumstances surrounding Adamu's death, highlighting the ongoing issues of insecurity in the region. The ADC community has also joined in mourning the loss of their member and called for urgent measures to address the rising incidents of kidnapping and violence.
