Don’t keep divorced women as friends, advise them to reconcile or remarry — Pastor Ibiyeomie

During a recent Mother’s Day celebration service, Peace Ibiyeomie, wife of Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries in Rivers State, urged women to avoid close friendships with divorced women who are not open to reconciliation or remarriage. She expressed concern that such individuals may discourage others from pursuing marriage while secretly maintaining relationships with men. Peace emphasized the importance of encouraging divorced friends or relatives to either reconcile with their former spouses or seek new partners, rather than fostering resentment towards men. She highlighted the contradiction in divorced women claiming that men are unimportant while still engaging in intimate relationships with them.
