Nigerian troops intercept 400 Starlink devices allegedly used by terrorists

Troops from Sector 2 of the North East Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have successfully intercepted over 400 Starlink communication devices that are believed to have been utilized by Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists for criminal activities in the region. Brigadier General Beyidi Martins, the Sector's Commander, provided this information during a briefing with defense correspondents in Damaturu on Tuesday. He emphasized the significance of these devices in facilitating communication among the terrorist groups, thereby aiding their operations. The interception is part of ongoing efforts by Nigerian forces to combat terrorism and enhance security in the affected areas.
