Stakeholders in Nigeria's education sector have expressed their support for the initiative led by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) aimed at addressing the issue of underage admissions into universities. The commendation follows a national stakeholder engagement convened by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, which took place on Tuesday in Abuja. This event was organized by the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG) and focused on discussing the implications and solutions regarding the admission of underage students into higher education institutions. Participants highlighted the importance of ensuring that university admissions adhere to age regulations to promote fairness and integrity within the educational system.
