Many escape death as speeding truck crashes at Lagos toll gate

On Tuesday, a truck transporting table water lost control and overturned at the Toll Gate section of the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway, leading to a significant spill of its contents. Many commuters and road users were present at the time of the incident and narrowly avoided serious injury or death. Mr. Salau Hammed, the Commander of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) for the Ota Unit, confirmed the occurrence of the accident, which took place during peak traffic hours. Emergency services were promptly deployed to the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
