Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Ebonyi State have apprehended Mr. Nwankpu James, a self-proclaimed prophet, in connection with a disturbing viral video that depicted the severe maltreatment of a child accused of witchcraft. The police acted swiftly upon the video's circulation, leading to the child's rescue. Following the intervention, the child is now receiving medical care at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki (FETHA). The authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident to ensure justice is served.
