The Abia State Government has announced the establishment of 140 learning centres through its Agency for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education, aimed at enhancing educational access for adults and those who previously missed formal schooling. Additionally, the government is investigating allegations of extortion and harassment against the Abia State University (ABSU), as part of its commitment to uphold integrity and accountability within educational institutions.
