The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained the Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, Mr. Abdullahi, in Abuja. His arrest is linked to allegations of fraud amounting to N500 billion. Mr. Abdullahi is presently in the custody of the anti-graft agency as investigations continue into the matter.
