The Lagos State Government is moving forward with plans to establish a Cybersecurity Operations Centre aimed at enhancing the protection of residents' data and digital transactions. Tunbosun Alake, the Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology, made this announcement during the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing held in Alausa, Ikeja. He emphasized that the initiative is crucial as an increasing number of residents adopt digital services, highlighting the need for robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard their information.
