The Federal Government, in collaboration with health stakeholders, has initiated efforts to reform Nigeria's rehabilitation system following a comprehensive national assessment that revealed significant deficiencies in rehabilitation services nationwide. This initiative was prompted by discussions during a National Stakeholders’ Validation Meeting convened in Abuja, which focused on the implementation of Rehabilitation 2030 in alignment with the World Health Organisation’s Systematic Assessment. The meeting aimed to address the identified weaknesses and enhance the overall effectiveness of rehabilitation services across the country.
