A 40-year-old law student from the University of Abuja, identified as Monday Goodluck, has been remanded in custody by the FCT High Court following allegations of raping a first-year Medicine and Surgery student. The order was issued by Justice M.S Idris on Wednesday, who denied a bail application presented orally by the Defence Counsel, Mr. Samson Francis. Goodluck has been ordered to remain in Kuje prison while the case proceeds through the judicial system.
