The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified 36 aspirants from participating in the upcoming House of Assembly primaries. The disqualification was announced by the party's primaries screening committee, which cited issues related to bribery and discrepancies in documentation as the reasons for the decision. Out of the total aspirants, only 46 have been cleared to proceed in the selection process for the 2027 elections. Following the disqualifications, appeals are anticipated from the affected individuals as they seek to contest the committee's ruling.
