Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, the Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, has officially refuted allegations regarding his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). In a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja, he clarified that he attended an invitation from the EFCC rather than being taken into custody. Abdullahi emphasized that he is cooperating with the agency's inquiries and remains committed to fulfilling his responsibilities at the Energy Commission.
