During the trial of Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, the Fourth Prosecution Witness, identified as PW4, provided testimony regarding financial transactions linked to Malami. On May 13, 2026, in the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja, PW4 stated that Zenith Bank Plc had submitted reports indicating suspicious transactions associated with Malami's accounts. This revelation is part of the ongoing proceedings concerning allegations of fraud amounting to N8.7 billion. The court session was presided over by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik.
