A 32-year-old man named Richard Peter has been arrested by the police in Kano for allegedly offering fake ushering jobs to students from Bayero University. The suspect is currently in custody at the zone one headquarters, where he is being held for questioning. Authorities have reported the recovery of 29 mobile phones and various other items that were reportedly stolen from the victims during the fraudulent scheme. The Police Public Relations Officer has issued a statement detailing the ongoing investigation into the matter.
