Abubakar Edun, the national secretary of the Ilorin Emirate Political Advisory Council (IEPAC), has asserted that President Bola Tinubu's contributions to Kwara State surpass those of any previous leader in its history. In an interview held in Ilorin, Edun highlighted the significant federal appointments secured by Kwara indigenes under Tinubu's administration, including notable figures such as Abdullateef Fagbemi and Bayo Ojulari. He expressed confidence that Tinubu's leadership would bolster the All Progressives Congress (APC) in upcoming elections, emphasizing the council's endorsement of both Tinubu and Senator Saliu Mustapha as candidates. Edun also called on the APC to prioritize the selection of high-caliber candidates, as the quality of leadership will be crucial for the party's success in the 2027 elections.
