The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has reported that telecommunications operators have invested over N2.5 trillion in network infrastructure in 2025. This investment comes in response to increasing complaints regarding service quality across the country. According to the NCC, Mobile Network Operators contributed more than N2.13 trillion towards network upgrades and infrastructure development in the previous year, while Tower Companies also played a significant role in enhancing the telecommunications landscape. The commission's efforts aim to address the ongoing challenges faced by consumers in accessing reliable telecommunications services.
