Troops from the Joint Task Force North East, engaged in Operation HADIN KAI, successfully rescued six women and children who had been abducted from the Ngoshe community in Borno State. The civilians had endured a harrowing experience in captivity within a Boko Haram/ISWAP enclave since March. In addition to the rescue, the operation led to the arrest of several individuals suspected of collaborating with the terrorist groups. The military continues to intensify efforts to combat insurgency and ensure the safety of civilians in the region.
