The Policy Innovation Centre, in collaboration with various partners, has officially launched the Pan-African AI Ethics and Governance Fellowship, inducting over 50 fellows. This initiative aims to enhance ethical standards and governance in artificial intelligence across the continent. The program is designed to cultivate leadership that prioritizes accountability and ethical considerations in AI development and implementation. Through this fellowship, participants will engage in capacity-building efforts to address the unique challenges posed by AI technologies in Africa.
