The Lagos State Government has announced the completion of over 50 kilometres of channelisation works aimed at enhancing water transportation in the state. This initiative is part of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ development agenda, which focuses on improving infrastructure and public services. Hon Dayo Bush Alebiosu, the Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, provided details on this project during a recent presentation, highlighting the government's commitment to transforming the ferry transport system in Lagos. The expansion is expected to facilitate smoother and more efficient ferry services for residents and commuters.
