Vice President Kashim Shettima officially launched Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and electric vehicles in Kano, signifying the commencement of the Northern transport corridor as part of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (Pi-CNG & EV). The event took place on Thursday and included the introduction of 15 CNG vehicles, comprising 10 that are fully powered by CNG and an additional five vehicles. This initiative aims to enhance sustainable transportation options in the region and promote the use of cleaner energy sources.
