President Bola Tinubu has officially appointed Ms. Adedayo Laniyi as the Director-General of the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development (MBNCWD) for an initial term of four years. The appointment was confirmed through a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume. In addition to this appointment, a governing council for the centre has also been constituted to oversee its operations and initiatives.
