A High Court in Gwarimpa, Abuja, has ordered the remand of Pastor Amos Isah, the founder of the Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry, following serious allegations of raping a 14-year-old female church member. The presiding judge, Justice Modupe Osho-Adebiyi, mandated that the 39-year-old cleric remain in custody while awaiting the presentation of records related to a previously granted bail application. During the hearing, Pastor Isah pleaded not guilty to an eight-count charge that includes rape, sexual exploitation, and coercion, among other offenses. The prosecution detailed that the alleged incident occurred on May 26, 2025, when the victim was reportedly lured into the church's auditorium, where she was assaulted and threatened by the pastor to remain silent. The case has been adjourned to June 30, 2026, for further proceedings.
