A legal challenge aimed at disqualifying former President Goodluck Jonathan from participating in the 2027 presidential election has encountered another obstacle. During a scheduled hearing at the Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Peter Odo Lifu, the case could not proceed due to the absence of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The suit was initiated by lawyer Johnmary Jideobi, who is seeking to prevent Jonathan from running in the upcoming election.
