A new outbreak of the Ebola virus has emerged in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, resulting in at least 65 confirmed deaths, as reported by African health authorities. The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Friday that there are currently 246 suspected cases, which include four deaths among patients who have been laboratory-confirmed as infected. Health officials are actively monitoring the situation and implementing measures to control the spread of the virus.
