The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has filed two separate lawsuits against Wema Bank at the Federal High Court in Lagos. The legal actions pertain to assets located in Banana Island, valued at N125 billion, as well as a disputed sum of N401 million in payments. These lawsuits are part of the NDIC's efforts to address financial matters related to a defunct lender associated with the bank.
