Haliru Halima Umar, a housewife, has received a 20-year prison sentence after admitting to charges of unlawful possession of 302 rounds of live ammunition intended for AK-47 rifles. The Department of State Service (DSS) brought the charges against her, leading to her conviction. The ruling was delivered by Justice Hauwa Joseph Yilwa at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday.
