A woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison by Justice Hauwa Joseph Yilwa after pleading guilty to two counts of a four-count charge related to terrorism. The charges were brought against her by the Department of State Services (DSS). During the proceedings, the court acknowledged the defendant's expression of remorse and her plea for leniency; however, it emphasized that offenses involving terrorism and illegal arms movement present significant threats to national security.
