Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has officially submitted his nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 Kebbi State governorship election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC). This submission took place at the ADC National Secretariat in Abuja, as confirmed by a statement from Mohammed Bello Doka, Malami’s Special Assistant on Media. In his pursuit of the governorship, Malami has begun consultations across all 21 local government areas in Kebbi State to garner support for his candidacy. He has articulated his commitment to addressing critical issues such as security, agriculture, infrastructure, education, and healthcare, citing these as central to his campaign agenda.
