The Lagos State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has issued a strong condemnation regarding the recent raid conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH). According to NMA Lagos State Secretary Saheed, the raid has resulted in an illegal and unethical disruption of medical services, adversely affecting patient care. The association has threatened to initiate a solidarity strike in response to the situation, emphasizing the need to protect the integrity of medical services in the region.
