Kano Police Bust Drug Syndicate, Recover 879 Parcels Of Cannabis

The Kano State Police Command has successfully dismantled a drug syndicate operating in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area. During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered 879 parcels of suspected Cannabis Sativa and apprehended a suspect identified as Umaru, also known as “Jalo,” from the Yan Shado community. The details of the operation were shared by the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in a statement released on Friday in Kano. The police continue to investigate the matter as part of their ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities in the region.
