The Minister of Works, David Umahi, announced that the construction cost of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway stands at N7.5 billion per kilometre. During a recent event where he signed Memoranda of Understanding and contract agreements for eight major road projects, Umahi indicated that there is significant interest from investors who are prepared to reimburse the government and implement tolling on the completed sections of the highway.
