The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) has announced its readiness to deploy approximately 2,000 megawatts of stranded generation assets to enhance electricity supply in Lagos State. Jennifer Adighije, the managing director and chief executive officer of NDPHC, conveyed this information during a meeting with the managing director and CEO of the Lagos State Electricity. This initiative aims to address the ongoing power supply challenges in the region and improve the overall energy infrastructure. The deployment of these assets is expected to significantly contribute to the stability and reliability of electricity in Lagos.
