In a statement released by the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the Ooni’s Palace, Moses Olafare, the monarch reflected on the challenges he faced, including mockery from some individuals during this period. His remarks came during a celebration for the birth of twin princes by his wife, Queen Mariam, where he expressed gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon him. The Ooni also acknowledged the support he received from various individuals, including the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, and emphasized the significant role of his mother in guiding him through difficult times.
