Barrister Ibrahim Kashim, a former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, has officially acquired the nomination and expression of interest forms to contest in the upcoming 2027 governorship election under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). His purchase of the forms took place on Friday, marking a significant step in his political aspirations. Kashim previously held the position of Secretary to the State Government during Governor Bala Mohammed's administration until he resigned in December 2024.
