The Chief Medical Director of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Prof. Ikpeme Ikpeme, has stated that the institution has taken decisive action against staff members exhibiting poor conduct over the past few years. He emphasized that the hospital has reprimanded personnel for negligence and inappropriate behavior towards patients, visitors, and officials. In contrast, the CMD also acknowledged and commended the efforts of staff members who have demonstrated exemplary performance in their duties. This approach aims to foster a more professional and patient-centered environment within the hospital.
