Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed his gratitude to the Federal Government for the significant projects being undertaken by the North-West Development Commission (NWDC) in Kano and other states within the region. During a courtesy visit from the Minister of State for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Ahmad, at the Government House in Kano, Governor Yusuf praised President Bola Tinubu for the commission's impactful interventions, which he described as transformative for the North-West populace. The governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, highlighted the governor's remarks, emphasizing the positive changes brought about by the NWDC's initiatives. In response, Minister Ahmad acknowledged the support from the Kano State Government, particularly its contribution of land for the NWDC's permanent site and vehicles, and reaffirmed the commission's commitment to collaborating with the state to ensure effective delivery of developmental projects.
