The Supreme Court has upheld a previous ruling by the Court of Appeal that annulled the conviction of former General Officer Commanding (GOC) Mr. Otiki, who had been dismissed from service six years ago due to allegations involving missing military funds. The General Court Martial, which had initially convened by the Nigerian Army to address the charges against him, found him guilty, but this decision has now been overturned. The Supreme Court's ruling effectively reinstates Mr. Otiki's standing and clears him of the charges that led to his dismissal.
