Ndudi Elumelu has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the House of Representatives in the Oshimili South Federal Constituency, decisively defeating the incumbent lawmaker, Ngozi Okolie. The primary election took place on Saturday across various wards in Asaba, where Elumelu garnered over 1,800 votes in Ward 9 and more than 1,000 votes in Ward 11, while Okolie did not receive any votes in the latter. Party officials reported that the primary was conducted peacefully and transparently, with strong participation from registered APC members. This victory positions Elumelu as the party's candidate for the upcoming general elections.
