Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has been selected as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Having previously served as the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, she represented the constituency for 16 years prior to her appointment in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet in 2023. Onyejeocha secured the party's nomination unopposed, indicating strong support within the APC ranks. Her candidacy marks a significant return to the legislative arena as she seeks to regain her former position in the House of Representatives.
