The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully conducted its direct primaries for the House of Representatives in Rivers State, finalizing candidates for 11 out of the 13 federal constituencies in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Among the candidates are six incumbents who have secured their party's nominations for another term, alongside the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule, and four first-time aspirants. The party has officially announced the successful candidates for various constituencies, including Dumnamene Dekor for Khana/Gokana and Uche Felix Nwaeke for Eleme/Tai/Oyigbo, among others.
