The insurgent leader, also referred to as Abu-Mainok or Abu-Bilal Al-Minuki, was reportedly being monitored in various locations, including Abuja and Maiduguri, prior to the operation. This strategy underscores the ongoing efforts by Nigerian security forces to combat insurgency while minimizing casualties.
