The Plateau State chapter of the Coalition of Fulani Registered Organizations has urged Governor Caleb Mutfwang to broaden his recent directive to security forces, which permits a shoot-on-sight policy against individuals damaging farmlands. The coalition advocates for the inclusion of cattle rustlers and those who assault Fulani herdsmen engaged in lawful activities under this order. They argue that such measures are necessary to ensure the safety and security of herdsmen in the region.
