A three-storey building in Abuja collapsed on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. In response to the tragedy, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has mandated that all medical treatment for those injured in the incident be provided free of charge. Dr. Adedolapo Fasawe, the Mandate Secretary for the FCT Health Services and Environment Secretariat, confirmed this information during her visit to the collapse site, where she also reported that rescue operations were underway. The authorities are currently assessing the situation and providing assistance to the affected families.
