Mr. Adamu Abubakar has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives seat representing Chanchaga Federal Constituency in Niger. The Returning Officer, Mr. Dan Islam, announced that Abubakar received a total of 30,650 votes, significantly surpassing his nearest competitor, Mr. Nmaa Ahmed, who garnered only 1,271 votes. This victory positions Abubakar as the APC candidate for the upcoming general elections.
